Morning Meditation: Today’s verse reminds me of times during my childhood where the Lord’s light literally pierced the darkness of rooms where my parents placed me as punishment. Jesus was my companion during many dark moments. Hope was kept alive because of f His presence. #morningmeditation #lightinthedarkness

Morning Meditation: I learned the importance of Sabbath while in grad school. One of my professors stressed the importance of taking a sabbath each week so we could renew our minds, bodies, and our souls. Resting in the Lord refreshes the soul. #morningmeditation #rest
