Today I Celebrate a Milestone In My Journey
Four years ago today, my memoir, What Kind of Love Is This? Finding God In the Darkness was released. I didn’t know what would happen when I shared my story, not just the facts, but the heart behind it. What I found was a community of readers who saw themselves in the pages. Who reached out with their own stories, their own questions, their own hope. I’m still overwhelmed by the kindness, honesty, and courage you’ve shown me.
Unexpected Connections
Over the years, many of you have also connected with me through my daily scripture meditation posts. I want you to know how deeply I’ve appreciated your responses, your reflections, and your quiet presence along the way. Those daily posts aren’t going anywhere. I’ll continue sharing them each morning for those who find encouragement in them.
But Something New is Taking Shape…
For the past year, I’ve been working on a series of new tools and resources that combine trauma-informed care with faith-based insight. They’re designed to work alongside my story, but also to stand on their own.
It’s something I’ve poured my heart into and created for those who, like me, have wrestled with questions, grief, and faith in the aftermath of trauma. There’s also a course on the way, and a handful of tools I hope will gently support others as they find their way forward.
Expanding Not Replacing
If you’ve found something meaningful in my writing, or if you’re simply looking for new ways to engage your own healing journey, I’d love to invite you to stay connected by joining my new mailing list.
This doesn’t replace the blog subscription; it simply adds another way to follow along with new tools, reflections, and what’s coming next.
