The adventure of play keeps me feeling alive and brings me joy. I laugh at myself and learn new things which keeps my brain active and alert. Childish games are not just for kids anymore. You’re never too Old to play.
In today’s verse Paul reminds us our strength comes from daily renewal with the One who caused the skies to darken, the veil to rip apart and then saved us with the words, “Forgive them for they know not what they do.” Followed by, “It is finished.”
Morning Meditation: Allowing the Lord to comfort me isn’t always easy because I think I should be strong enough to manage situations on my own but today’s verse reminds me that His comfort allows me to comfort others. #morningmeditation #comfort
I wanted to change, but I felt powerless. How could I change and stop the pattern of behavior that was destroying me?
David’s words are a great reminder to us that God is not a God of immediate gratification. The Lord expects us to wait on His timing. He expects us to trust Him and “wait all the day long” for His guidance while trusting Him to meet us at our point of need. We cannot rush God, but we can rush ahead of Him. When we do, the result is often disastrous.
