Jesus didn’t arrive with fanfare for most of the world.

He arrived quietly.

Not as a demand.

Not as a checklist.

Not as something we had to prepare ourselves to receive.

He came in the stillness,

in a body, in a breath, in a presence willing to be close.

Today, we pause to remember who arrived quietly.

If the day feels full, let it be full.

If it feels tender, let it be tender.

If it feels ordinary, let it be ordinary.

Nothing has to be forced.

Nothing has to be held together.

Nothing has to be proven.

Love came.

And it remains.

Wherever you find yourself today, may you sense the nearness of the One who came quietly to redeem us all.

Merry Christmas.
