Experiencing Hope, Finding Truth
Morning Meditation: The Lord has been my refuge and my strength all the days of my life. Without Him, I wouldn’t be here. He pulled me from the darkness and set my feet on solid ground. #morningmeditation #refuge

I’m grateful that real strength doesn’t come from my own joy—but from His. #FaithInTheFog #survivingtheholidays #survivingtheholidays #joy
Night doesn’t last forever. God has a way of bringing morning and with it, joy. #traumarecovery #dailyinspiration #FaithInTheFog #ANewThing
Morning Meditation: This is one of my all time favorite verses. Perhaps I’ve over used it as my verse of the day, but I can’t stress enough the importance of its simple message. I had to accept Jesus’s love for me, before I could love anyone including myself. #morningmeditation #love bible.com/bible/59/1jn.4.19.ESV
This verse is an open invitation for the Lord pierce our heart with truth, not just give us knowledge to process with our mind, but with our heart. In The Abolition of Man, C. S. Lewis describes “The Chest-Magnanimity-Sentiment” which, functions as the liaison between the intellect and sentiment.[1] Being that it is the chest suggests that it is the “heart” of man. It is the element that guides the choices we make.
I wouldn’t be here without the ones who stayed when life was messy. #FaithInTheFog #dailyinspiration #encouragement #community
Morning Meditation: For me, The key word in today’s verse is “wholeheartedly.” I’ve sometimes missed moments where God showed up for me because I wasn’t seeking Him wholeheartedly. #morningmeditation #wholeheartedly
