A Little About Me—and a Lot About Why I’m Here

I’ve walked through trauma, doubt, and deep healing—and I know how lonely that road can feel.
What I share here comes from my own story, not from a place of having it all figured out, but from someone who’s been there and still believes healing is possible.

Why I Do What I Do

I didn’t always believe healing was possible. But through faith, therapy, and community, I began to heal—and now I share my story so others know they’re not alone.

I hold a MSW and a MA in Apologetics—education that shaped both my work and my heart.

Experience

With 35+ years in social work, I’ve walked alongside countless individuals on the road to healing.

What Drives Me

I share my story so trauma survivors feel seen, supported, and never alone. I’m ready to walk with you.

Redemption

I didn’t believe God could love someone like me. Learning to receive His love changed everything.

How the Message Was Received

Encouraging and Courageous

[What Kind of Love is This?] offers to friends, family, and support professionals an opportunity to better understand the psychological and spiritual interior of one who is experiencing sexual abuse and the infiltration of conflicting emotions and thoughts that accompany this terrain. That there is healing from this type of trauma is indeed a miracle.

My passion for you on this Journey

  1. Thank you for your courage to share your message of hope. May God bless you and those you continue to help.

  2. I don’t know what my calling is. I have some interest in Biblical studies but I want it to at least partially qualify me for MFT California. I have 2 batchelor degrees from decades ago 1975, 1988. Do not think of me as old. I have years and years and years remaining. I’ve only just begun. I touched the face of God 11/17/96

  3. I have known Charlotte for almost 3 decades. She has a wealth of knowledge in this subject and frankly – many other topics concerning healing and restoration. I’m very excited about her book and this chapter of her journey. It will benefit each of us as she shares. Thank you Charlotte.
