Sometimes life gets overwhelming with no relief in sight. In those moments it’s easy to cry out asking, “Why is all this happening?” Or “When will this stop?” Today’s verse brings light into the overwhelm.

John’s words give me hope when my world is chaotic and I’m faced with one trial after another. While the words alone do not stop the chaos, they calm my soul long enough to breathe. No battle is too difficult for God and He is greater than any enemy who comes against me.
