Experiencing Hope, Finding Truth
Morning Meditation: As 2024 draws to a close, my mind turns to planning for next year. Today’s verse reminds me to seek the Lord for guidance while I’m planning. #morningmeditation #planning

The sonnets in my memoir provide respite to the reader as they navigate my accounts of the pain I endured as a child. The sonnet below is placed at a critical transition between my childhood and leaving for college. My words convey hope, empathy for the child who fears the future. The poem reminds the child within that Jesus never leaves her and she can still find comfort and strength by holding on to Him.
Morning Meditation: The truth in today’s verse has sustained me through many difficult days in my life. #morningmeditation #steadfast
Morning Meditation: I sometimes struggle to be kind to difficult people. I’m not mean to them, but I get impatient and annoyed. Today’s verse reminds me to pause, check my attitude and think before I speak. #morningmeditation #patience
No matter what age I feel in the moment—7, 17, or 70—He’s carried me through every one. And He still does. #FaithInTheFog #innerchild #dailyinspiration
January always carries that quiet pressure to move. To figure things out.To name goals. To get oriented for what’s next.Even when we tell ourselves we’re resting, something in us is already leaning forward. But this week’s Scriptures gently interrupt that impulse. “And he said, ‘My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.’…
Today this verse felt like a soft whisper: “I’m not done with you.” When I worry I’ll never get there, I come back to this promise. #FaithInTheFog #dailyinspiration #HeIsNotDoneYet
