Experiencing Hope, Finding Truth

Morning Meditation: A great question to ask myself everyday. I struggle with people pleasing, so this verse is a timely reminder to check my motivation before acting. #morningmeditation #serveGod
The book of Psalms is a favorite of mine because David and others bare their heart and soul to the Lord, but always end with praise and thanksgiving for God’s steadfast love. This week I turned to three passages to uplift, encourage and strengthen my soul. I hope they provide the same to you.
Morning Meditation: As I begin the new year, I’m reminded that God is ready to lead me and strengthen me for whatever the year holds. He created me along with everything else and when He was finished, He said, “it is good.” I am His good creation. #morningmeditation #good
Sometimes I still struggle with asking for help because I don’t want to be a burden or I think my needs aren’t important, but I also struggle with self-reliance. Because I grew up in an abusive home, I learned early that I couldn’t rely on anyone for help.
Morning Meditation: Over the years, I’ve learned to stop playing “What if…?” when I think about the future. I’m not always successful, but I’m much better at trusting the Lord to take care of tomorrow.
Morning Meditation: I am grateful for God’s willingness to answer my pleas according to His will. All I have to do is ask, seek, or knock then listen, look, and enter. #morningmeditation #ask #seek #knock
