leaving the security of familiar coping mechanisms is terrifying. Especially when nothing seems to ease the fear and pain like what I knew. I think we sometimes forget that through the Holy Spirit we have access to the Lord all the time. As my granddaughter told me a few years ago, “God isn’t a feeling. He just is.”
