Experiencing Hope, Finding Truth
This verse reminds me that God knows where I’m standing, even when I don’t. I don’t have to figure out the whole road. #faitthinthefog #dailyinspiration #newness

Morning Meditation: I love the imagery in today’s verse. I imagine God gazing down on me with compassion, grace, and forgiveness. #morningmeditation #mercy
Sometimes poetry allows expression of emotion that prose does not allow. Writing these Sonnets helped me connect the thread of how my early experiences affected how I defined love and my relationships with others, with myself and how I interpreted everyday experiences.
I’m grateful that God’s presence never leaves me. It’s there even when I don’t feel it. #FaithInTheFog #nearness #traumarecovery #dailyinspiration
This verse is an open invitation for the Lord pierce our heart with truth, not just give us knowledge to process with our mind, but with our heart.  In The Abolition of Man, C. S. Lewis describes “The Chest-Magnanimity-Sentiment” which, functions as the liaison between the intellect and sentiment.[1] Being that it is the chest suggests that it is the “heart” of man.  It is the element that guides the choices we make.
Morning Meditation: What a great verse to start the day! I will praise the Lord wherever and whatever the day brings! #morningmeditation #praise
Morning Meditation: Paul’s greetings are so uplifting and today’s verse is a perfect example. His words include 3 of the 4 themes of Advent and remind me I have hope, joy, and peace because of the love reflected in Jesus’ presence in my life. #morningmeditation #joy #peace #hope #love #advent
