In today’s verse, Paul states how unfathomable our eternal inheritance is to human senses, but in verse 10 he explains how the expanse is revealed to us. Paul’s purpose in verses 9-10 is that the mystery of the gospel and God’s wisdom are already revealed to believers in the present through the Holy Spirit.

We have what we need to learn, discover and understand more fully the wonders of the Lord and His plans for us. But the Holy Spirit is a gentleman and will not force knowledge or wisdom on us. He resides in us ready to share unknown things with us, but we must get acquainted with Him in order to comprehend what He wants to share.

Now, to be sure there are mysteries that belong solely to the Lord that we will not know until we see Him face to face, but today we can listen to that whisper from within to get a glimpse of the glory that awaits us.
