Waiting in silence is hard, but over the years, I’ve discovered that even 5 minutes a day of complete silence before the Lord sometimes brings more wisdom and peace than an hour of talking.
David struggled often with making good choices, but he always came back to the Lord and understood the power of being silent before Him. His declaration in today’s verse provides guidance and hope for us as we navigate life.
In moments of confusion and overwhelm, a few minutes of silence with God might just be the thing that brings us the peace we need to take the next step.
