Today’s verse always brings a smile to my face. Its simplicity is what makes it stand out. Paul found the inexplicable joy of fully knowing Jesus Christ without walking with Him. His conversion experience was profound and pierced his soul. He absolutely could not contain his joy. Today’s verse gives us a glimpse of his passionate plea to the Philippians to share in the joy he felt.

We’ve all experienced things that thrilled us to the point that we couldn’t contain it. Think about that moment and then imagine the joy multiplied by a thousand. Even that is a fraction of the joy Paul experienced and expressed in today’s verse.

We share Paul’s experience, maybe not a Road to Damascus experience, but, as believers, we know the freedom and transformation that knowing Christ brings into our lives. We have the Holy Spirit that never leaves. We have the promise of eternal life and above all we are loved.

So, let us rejoice in the Lord always. #dailyinspiration #rejoicealways
