Psalm 23 is possibly the most memorized chapter in the Bible. Each verse describes one of the Lord’s attributes using the analogy of a shepherd, which makes perfect sense since David was a shepherd.

Verse 6 focuses on the promise of eternal life with God and His constant presence in our lives. God watches over us daily and showers us with His goodness and mercy. He will never leave us or forsake us. Like a good shepherd, He is our guide and protector. He knows where we are and if we stray from the flock, He seeks after us and brings us back. He promises safety and security in His kingdom forever.
