Today’s verse is one of my favorites because the words remind me of God’s unending mercy and unconditional love. He is faithful in all things.

As I sit in my chair looking out at the blue sky and hear birds chirping on my balcony, I’m reminded of God’s consistency and His promises. Yesterday is gone. What remains is love, patience, grace, and mercy.

God’s love for me never changes. He doesn’t always like my choices or my attitude, but He will never stop loving me.

Patience, well all we have to do is look at the Lord’s interactions with humanity over time to see how much patience He has with us.

The ultimate gift of grace came through our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. He gave everything to redeem you and me.

God demonstrates mercy so many times throughout the Bible and continues showing mercy everyday. I am grateful for all the times He’s extended mercy to me when I’ve messed up in major ways. There’s comfort knowing each day brings new mercies.

We can rejoice knowing the Lord of Lords is still on the throne and still extends mercy to us everyday.
